Longistics Releases Podcasts With Lou Tapper On SIP International Commodities Exhibition Center, Partnership With SeAll

Posted: January 20, 2011

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C.– Longistics, a full-service provider of global logistics solutions, has announced the release of two podcasts with Lou Tapper, vice president of global business development, discussing the company’s recently launched Suzhou Industrial Park International Commodities Exhibition Center and joint partnership with Chinese logistics company SeAll.

North Carolina Governor Bev Perdue, state Secretary of Commerce Keith Crisco and others joined Longistics at a Dec. 9 announcement to formally launch the Suzhou Industrial park International Commodities Exhibition Center. Set to open in March 2011, the exhibition center will generate opportunities that accelerate the export of products from North Carolina and U.S.-based companies to China. Plans call for Longistics to add 50 plus companies at the Center within the first year of operations, and 500 companies by five years.

Longistics has a joint venture partnership with SeAll, a Chinese state-owned logistics company located within the SIP, to network Longistics’ Foreign Trade Zones 214 and 93 to the Chinese Integrated Free Trade Zone operated by SeAll and serve as the logistics point in China for the Center.

Those interested in learning more about opportunities for exhibitors at the Center should contact Lou Tapper at (919) 872-7626 or e-mail tapper@longistics.com.

QUOTES:

“International expansion into the Chinese marketplace can provide many benefits to N.C. and U.S. businesses,” said Tapper. “Besides saving and even creating new job opportunities, international expansion can get your products into the Chinese market and in front of new targeted markets. Our Exhibition Center and partnership with SeAll will create opportunities for North Carolina businesses.”
